Do you have any thoughts about the new season of The Bachelorette? Are you watching it, or have you moved on from it?

Daisy Kent: I’m excited to watch it. I started watching it. I’m excited to watch Jenn, and it will be awesome. I’m excited to cheer her on; she will do a great job. So yeah, I’m just thrilled to support her. And also, yeah, I do love the franchise, and there’s been nothing but impressive to me.

Being on the series has also been a springboard for other things for you.

Daisy Kent: Yeah. I did not think on the scale that it’s been on. I didn’t know when I went on that my hearing loss story would impact the way it did. And now, seeing that it did, it does feel like it was meant to happen and that everything in my life has happened for a reason.

Why did you feel that now is the time to tell the world about your scare from meningitis?

Daisy Kent: So I’ve talked a lot about my past with my hearing loss and Lyme disease, but meningitis isn’t something that I’ve got to talk a lot about. That’s why I partnered with GSK on their Ask2BSure campaign: I want to raise more awareness about meningitis.

I would like to know your experiences when you realized it had touched your life.

Daisy Kent: So when I was a freshman in college, I woke up with a horrible headache. I went to bed, and around 2 am, I woke up. It was really, really bad. I went back to sleep, then woke up, went to biology class, and turned my head, and I had just a shocking feeling that went down my spine, like nothing I’ve ever felt before.

So I went to the doctor on campus right away, and then they had me go to the ER. A guy came in in a hazmat suit, and they just started doing a bunch of tests because they kind of suspected that I had meningitis, and my vitals were crazy, so they were apprehensive. So they started treating me as if I had bacterial meningitis. It came back that I had viral meningitis. I learned that only bacterial meningitis is vaccine-preventable.

Dr. Aprel Barnes, a pediatrician in West Columbia, South Carolina, explained how the disease can be transmitted. “Teens and young adults are at increased risk of meningitis, particularly from the B serogroup, due to their age and common activities, namely kissing, sharing drinks and utensils, and living in close quarters (i.e., college or military barracks).

CDC data from 2015-2018 showed that meningitis B accounted for more than 60% of meningitis cases among teens and young adults 16 – 23 years old.”

How’s the wedding planning going?

Hannah Brown: Wedding planning is (slowly) in the works. We are definitely still in the beginning stages. I am so thankful to have a wedding planner. I don’t know how people do it on their own. They must be superhumans! We want to do a destination wedding. We have been in a very busy season, but we would like to check out some potential locations. I’m hoping in the next few months we will be able to do that.

How did you meet your fiancé, Adam Woolard?

HB: I met my fiancé on a dating app. I was not expecting to meet my person there, but I am
I am living proof that it can happen. Keep swiping, keep going on dates, and don’t give up. I got very lucky because I had not been on the app for very long, but I still managed to meet a great human. We were both living in Santa Monica at the time and funny enough, we lived three doors down from each other and would have never known.

What’s the one thing you love the most about Adam?

HB: One thing I love the most about Adam is his growth mindset. We all as humans are ever-changing, so to be with someone who allows you to change but also wants to work on our relationship, wherever we are in that stage of life, is huge. I love that he is constantly pushing himself to be better. It is important to find a partner willing to grow and change with you and for you.

Let’s talk about DWTS. What was your experience like on the series?

Hannah Brown: Oh, wow, that was a crazy time in my life. I went straight from one reality show to the next. It was a difficult season, but my experience on Dancing with the Stars was amazing. I danced when I was younger, but I hadn’t danced in a while. I had some fears of not being enough going into the show.

Being able to push through that week after week and put my all into something was special. It is cool to reflect on some of those dances and say, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I really did that.’

I remember my first dance; it was the first dance of the entire season. I completely blacked out and didn’t remember a single thing after the dance. Building my confidence and comfort, performing for a live audience was cool. I am most grateful for that during my time on reality TV.

Where do you keep your mirrorball?

HB: I have my Mirrorball Trophy beside me right now. It stays on my desk in my office and helps remind me of what I have accomplished.

How did your partnership with Delulu Design come about?

HB: I have always been a fan of Command Brand products. I remember when I was a teenager in my parents’ house. My dad was such a stickler about adding holes in the walls, so I could only add any personality to my room with Command.

Creating my course, Delulu Design 101, has been exciting because it allows me to share tips and tricks with other college students to bring their mood boards to life. When I was a college student at the University of Alabama, my freshman dorm’s plain cinderblock walls were very daunting. However, it was also fun because it was the first time I could express myself through my passion for interior design and how I wanted to show up in that new season of life.

What’s your favorite way to use Command strips?

HB: Today, my favorite way to use Command Strips is to help me stay organized. Command Strips and Command Hooks have been game-changers. I moved to Nashville about a year ago and am currently renting. Not worrying about creating any damage has been great.

You’d see plenty of Command Hooks behind my closet door to help organize jewelry. I have the Command Folding Clothes Hanger in my laundry room, which I love to use to steam my clothes.

What are your favorite design elements?

HB: I love décor that shows off my personality. In my office, I have many different pictures and mementos hanging up on a vision board that constantly inspires me over the years. I think the most important part of any space is making it your own, showing off memories and things that make you feel good, and making it functional.

Reality Steve says that the winner of the season has a controversial moment during a game of truth or dare that doesn’t air during the episode. Here’s what happens.

The Bachelorette Season 21 premiere is here, and fans seeking out spoilers already know who wins. While Jenn Tran’s adventure begins on the small screen on July 8, she already finished filming. In post-filming interviews, she seems elated with the man she chose.

So, who did Jenn pick? According to Reality Steve, she chose Devin Strader, a 28-year-old Freight Company Owner from Rosenberg, Texas.

During the premiere, Devin says something extremely controversial that producers don’t air in the episode — and it happens during a game of “Truth or Dare.”

“You will see a game of ‘Truth or Dare’ in the episode tomorrow night once the guys are all in the mansion, and it’s during the cocktail party,” Reality Steve says in his episode-by-episode spoiler video. “And Jenn plays ‘Truth or Dare’ with some of the guys, and you see what they do.”

So, what does Devin say? “He said, ‘Truth,’ and he was asked, ‘What’s one conspiracy that you believe?’ And his answer was, ‘I believe 9/11 was an inside job,'” Reality Steve confirms.

ABC hasn’t spoken on the matter, and it clearly doesn’t bother Jenn, as she reportedly chose Devin at the end of the season.

Reality Steve spoke more about Devin Strader in his episode spoilers for The Bachelorette Season 21. Devin joins the group date in episode 2 while the cast and Jenn Tran are in Melbourne, Australia. The group date involves a roast associated with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

According to spoilers, Devin “hams it up” on the group date, which might confuse viewers.

“Devin, I heard, really hams it up for the cameras,” Reality Steve says. “The person that had heard about this date said that he’s either going to be looked at very positively or very negatively by the way he acts on this date. Some people might think he’s a ham, and some people might be put off by it.”

Devin doesn’t earn the group date rose for this date. However, Jenn clearly finds him attractive early on, as she keeps him through the rest of the season.

That contestant will already look familiar to fans of the franchise. According to insiders, Aaron Erb, whose twin brother, Noah Erb, appeared on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, will choose to leave the competition during week 3.

According to Reality Steve, Aaron will be self-eliminating from the series for a pretty noble reason. The podcaster and The Bachelorette spoilers expert, Steve Carbone, revealed the 29-year-old twin excused himself from the competition after the U.S. Air Force called him to return to flight school. Erb will reportedly get a “hero’s edit” because of the reason for his departure.

Could Aaron Erb become the next bachelor thanks to self-eliminating?

While Erb leaves the competition after just a few weeks, according to The Bachelorette spoilers, we can’t help but wonder if we’ll be seeing more of him. Before the premiere, Reality Steve noted that he knew of at least three of the four men headed to hometowns. Three of the men are Marcus Shoberg, Devin Strader, and Jeremy Simon. As for the fourth, Reality Steve says it’s between Spencer Conley and Jonathon Johnson.

Jenn heads to Houston, Texas, to meet Devin’s family. Marcus is from Cloquet, Minnesota, so Jenn likely heads there to meet his loved ones. Jenny likely heads to Fairfield, Connecticut, to meet Jeremy’s family.

If Jenn includes Spencer in her hometowns, they’ll head to Dallas, Texas. However, if Jonathon gets the final spot, the couple will head to Kansas City, Missouri.

During an appearance on Call Her Daddy before her season premiere, Tran seemingly slipped up when discussing the scrutiny that being on a reality TV show has brought her.

Maria Georgas unfollowed the next lead of The Bachelorette, Jenn Tran, on social media. So, what went down between the two women?

Maria was a fan favorite from Joey Graziadei’s season, and viewers expected her to take on the Bachelorette role. According to Maria, she was chosen for the role. But she decided to step down. In response, producers chose Jenn as the next star. The announcement was made during The Golden Bachelor finale.

Jenn addressed the claims that she was only chosen at the last minute while on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “Obviously, I was really disappointed to see all of that, because the truth of the matter is there’s a lot of narratives out there, and they’re not necessarily the truth,” Jenn said.

“The show has been going on for years and years, 21 years of this show specifically, and every season, there are multiple people in contention for the role,” she continued. “Multiple people are being interviewed or doing meetings about it all, doing fittings or filming intro packages. It’s never really you until it’s you. That’s why I was a little disappointed.”

Jenn added that the speculation took away from her personal journey as the lead. But it seems Maria didn’t like what Jenn had to say, resulting in the unfollow.

Maria Georgas said she was a shoo-in to become The Bachelorette lead.

“I was offered the role. It was mine until I said it wasn’t,” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “It became very overwhelming to the point where I had to decline.”

So, why didn’t she accept the role?

“It was set in stone. I was in it,” Maria said. “When everyone around me was so supportive of me being in this position, and everyone wanted this for me, I took a second. I’m like, why am I not happy? Why am I not excited about this? It took me realizing that it’s just not my time where I was like, respectfully, I need to decline. I need to take a step back.”

Maria added that she didn’t want to “waste anyone’s time” as the lead and felt it was “hard” to jump back into the show after The Bachelor.

Jenn Tran talked about being a ‘good role model’ as the first Asian-American lead

Jenn Tran is putting the drama with Maria Georgas aside to focus on her role as the lead of The Bachelorette. She’s the first Asian-American franchise lead and hopes to be a “good role model” moving forward.

“I think a lot of the pressure usually comes from me just wanting to be a good role model and just wanting to do it right, whatever ‘right’ means,” Jenn admitted during a Bachelor Nation interview. “I think, at the end of the day, what I need to tell myself is that it’s just about being myself and telling my story and doing that the best that I can. And it’s not about necessarily pleasing other people, which I do have a problem with, because I want everyone to be able to relate and learn from it.”

“I’m just so grateful and honored to be the first Asian-American lead and to be able to tell my story,” she added.
